Love’s Lament

My yearning heart

Comes apart

When I think of you

I don’t know what to do.

When will you see

The invisible me?

As I try to refrain

And ignore the pain

Of always knowing

That our love’s not growing.

Like a beautiful dove,

We should share our love

And sing a song

That’s where we belong.

Love makes us happy

And really quite sappy

As we reflect on life’s way

And on the present, today.

Love is a beautiful emotion. The heart paces quicker and the euphoric feeling from just a glance, is a tender emotion. When the heart cares too much, it can feel like it has a mind of its own. It is amazing to give your heart to another, but can feel like its wrenched out of your chest when the other person is gone too long. “We Live for Love” is a song by Pat Benatar (1977) that speaks of the need for a heart connection that exists in all creatures. That connection is what keeps us alive; the lifeforce the human creation beats to the energy of love. There are few in this world who can be the soul connection that we all crave. Besides love, there are those who are jealous of that connection. They will cause waves in the universe’s plan, in order to disrupt or change the happiness they see in others. The important thing to remember is that every person in your life is there for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Let your heart tell you who to believe in. Life is best when you believe, hope, and enjoy the miracles, the dreams, and the psychic connections that are brought into your sphere of being. Keep your eyes open for deceivers, tho. Carry obsidian or tiger’s eye for protection from Psychic attacks. Most of all, communicate with your guardian spirit and give thanks for what you have. Life is a miracle, and so are the like-spirits that you meet. Love on!
